Planning around school examinations
How to adjust NDA preparation during a busy school week.
A timetable is useful only if it can respond to practical submissions, school tests and difficult chapters. Before joining an integrated NDA programme in Pune, ask to see how an ordinary week changes when school deadlines arrive. The example below is a planning aid for families, not a promise about a particular batch timetable.
List fixed commitments first
Write down classroom hours, practical work, homework deadlines, travel or hostel duties, meals and rest. Ask which school tasks must be completed this week. Do not fill every remaining minute with another test.
Use one concept in two formats
If school Mathematics covers trigonometry, first practise the written steps required in class. Then attempt a small objective set on the same concept. Record whether errors came from understanding, calculation or question reading; speed work is not a substitute for learning the method.
Reduce volume, keep continuity
During school-test week, agree a smaller NDA practice target with the teacher. A brief English passage or a few previously corrected questions can preserve continuity. Move a long mock test when it would displace essential school revision rather than attempting everything late at night.

Suppose a student has a Physics test on Thursday and a practical submission on Friday. On Monday, identify two weak Physics ideas and finish the first part of the submission.
